Online Bidding FAQ


Do I have to sign up to bid on auction items?

Yes! You can sign up to bid by clicking here or by clicking the "Register to Bid" button in the navigation menu above. You will click"Get Started", then "create account", and enter your email address twice. You will be sent a confirmation email, which will then lead you to enter the rest of your information important for donating and bidding on auction items. *Please make sure you complete your registration by clicking the link in the confirmation email sent to you* You can also watch this video for a demonstration on how to sign up.


I’ve signed up to bid – now what?

Once the auction items are open for bidding (beginning Monday, November 30th), you will be sent an automated text message that contains your unique bidder link. With that, you will be able to easily bid or donate with just a click! You can also always find the link to the bidding page through our website, where you will be able to preview auction items before they are open to bidding.


Do I need internet access in order to participate in the event?

Yes, internet access is required to view and bid on items in the auction and to make donations.


What device do I need to donate or bid? Do I need more than one?

You can bid or donate from any smart phone, tablet, or computer! It is not necessary for you to need more than one device, but you are welcome to do so.


I see an item I like – how do I make a bid?

1.     Once you see an item you like, you can Bid the next increment, or you can Bid More than the next increment.

2.     If you choose Bid More, you can set a Max Bid – the system will automatically place a bid for you until you are outbid, which you will receive a text message alert for.

3.     If you’d like to “watch” an item, click the star icon on the item.


How will I know if someone has outbid me?

If you are outbid at any point before the auction closes, you will be alerted via text message.


Is there a way I can see all of the items I’m bidding on or watching in one place?

Yes. To view items you are bidding on, simply click the menu button and select Bids. To view items you are watching, click the menu button and select Favorites.


The auction has closed – how will I know if I’ve won?

The guest with the highest bid when the auction closes will win and will be alerted via text message. You can view all packages you have won under the Bids area.


How do I pick up the items I have won?

Please contact Jessica Peterson at jpeterson@icmtx.org to coordinate pick-up. The deadline for scheduling item pick-up is Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

 

 

Clambake & Raffle Ticket FAQ

 

Do I have to buy a raffle ticket?

Every person who signs up to be an online bidder automatically receives ONE (1) free raffle ticket. If you would like to purchase more to have more chances to win, head to the "Tickets & Donations" page!

 

What is a "Clambake Party Host"?

Have 10 confirmed registrants under you, and receive night-of recognition PLUS an additional 5 raffle tickets!

 

Does it cost extra to be a Clambake party host?

No - this is completely free! Just enter the names of the 10 people that you invited AND that have signed up to be an online bidder to get your 5 free raffle tickets.

 

Where can I view the raffle items?

View the "Festival of Trees - Virtual Event" page to see more information on the items being raffled.

 

How will I know if I have won a raffle item?

There will be several drawings throughout the night, and the winners will be notified via text or email.
